Arista's passion for music, teaching, and the outdoors began at a young age. She grew up in Marion Center, PA where she frequently went fishing, hiking, and kayaking. While living there, she was able to play in many professional settings including jazz festivals, pit orchestras for musicals, and community bands at IUP.
